We have been busy learning about food by looking in books to see where it comes from, visiting our local Tesco to buy our snack food and then making our role play area into a supermarket. We have played with dough to make it into currant buns, and have handled uncooked and cooked pasta to feel the different textures. We made our own pizza and had a fruit hunt in the garden, where we looked for hidden fruit so that we could make a fruit salad.We have been learning Welsh songs about food such as un a dau a tri banana.
