Welcome back, we hope you all had an enjoyable holiday and are ready for this next very busy term.
We are very happy to confirm to you that after a very successful probationary period we have offered Aunty Victoria a permanent position at playgroup. She is a fully qualified NNEB and will be working with us every Tuesday and Thursday. One of her many talents is baking and she will be regularly helping the children with cooking activities.
After Christmas we intend to introduce a library scheme, where your child will be issued with a library book once a week, to take home and for you to read it with them. Books will be issued on Tuesdays or Fridays and must be returned on the same day the following week to be exchanged for a new book.
If you wish for your child to take part in this scheme please sign the attached pro-forma and return it to staff before the end of November. Please note that if books are lost or damaged there will be a £2 charge to cover the cost of a replacement.
We will be attending the outdoor classroom on the main school site on Thurs Nov 10th, so please ensure your child is wearing suitable clothing and Wellingtons. If your child does not normally attend a Thursday session and you would like them to join in with this exciting activity please inform staff as soon as possible.
Again a very polite request please could all fees be paid on the first day of the week that your child attends, as agreed on your contracts. Playgroup operates on a very tight budget and it is vital that all fees are paid promptly. Thank-You.
Children in Need day Fri 18th Nov. If you wish you can dress your child in something spotty and pay a donation of £1 towards this worthwhile cause. If any parents have any other fund-raising ideas for this day, please do not hesitate to let us know.
Please take a look at our new playgroup website www.llanddulasplaygroup.co.uk where you can keep up to date with all the activities that your child has taken part in, download information and view photographs.
