Procedures when identifying health and safety risks:
- Staff members report faulty equipment and safety issues to playgroup leader who is responsible for reporting it to relevant persons.
- Playgroup leader reports to chair person of committee.
- Equipment is not used until it is repaired or replaced.
- Health and safety officer on the committee checks that faulty equipment has been repaired or replaced.
- Safety issues are dealt with immediately.
