Arrival and Departure Procedures

Arrival

• On arrival at the school site please be advised it is a no smoking site, we would appreciate it if you do not smoke outside in view of the children.
• In the playground please be aware children are not permitted in the school car park, children can play in the playground under close supervision. Doors will be opened by the staff at 9.am please come inside and help your child to find their name and self register. Please fill in the arrivals book.
• A staff member is on both doors to ensure the safe entry of children and departure of parents/carers, at this time please approach staff in the playroom with any queries.

Departure

• If another responsible adult is collecting your child we must have prior written permission.
• If the person collecting is not listed on your childs registration form please inform us in the arrivals book who will be collecting your child.
• Doors open at 12.45pm for collection, again there are staff members on each door to ensure children's safe departure, at this time please approach staff in the playroom with any queries.
• When ever you depart from playgroup a member of staff needs to let you out and bolt the door behind, please inform a member of staff if you need to leave the premises during session times.

Late Collection of your Child

• If you are going to be late for reasons beyond your control, please telephone us as soon as possible, otherwise we will need to follow our non collected child procedure.
• Please be aware persistent lateness is not acceptable, staff need to tidy up as the classroom is used by the nursery class from 12.45pm.
• At the committees discretion persistent lateness may be charged for.
