Payment Policy
Payments must be made weekly or monthly or termly in ADVANCE if payment is not received, a letter will be sent that week, to the parent/carer requesting payment or help to arrange to pay any outstanding money.
If payment is not received after 7 days of receipt of letter, then the child will be excluded AND WILL BE UABLE TO ATTEND PLAYGROUP UNTIL THE PAYMENTS ARE PAID AND FULLY UP TO DATE.
Sickness or holiday
Full fees are charged for sickness or holiday unless circumstances are exceptional.
Absence
All funded children need to attend on a regular basis to get their entitlement to funding.
Our register is a legal document and is checked regarding absence.
Any absence must be reported on the first day.
Absence forms will need to be signed explaining the reason for absence on return to playgroup.
If the situation should arise where unexplained absence results in funding being returned to the authorities, Llanddulas playgroup will request payment for the child's sessions from the parent carer at the rate specified by the early years education grant. (This can result in a considerable bill so please ring and explain all absences)
If the bill is not paid by the parent/carer then the child's sessions will be offered to another child on the waiting list.
Should you wish to remove your child from the provision, 2 weeks notice along with payment will be required.
Settling in children
The first initial induction session for parents and their child is free, after this the following applies:
Accompanied children under 2 years 6 months
Those children who are accompanied by their parent for the settling in period are charged half the session fee whether or not they stay for all or part of the session.
Children 2 years 6 months and over
Once a child reaches 2 years 6 months they can be left unattended by the parent, if the parent chooses to stay a little longer to settle their child full session fees apply or if applicable the Nursery education grant applies.
Funded sessions
Children who qualify for 3 year funded are entitled to 10 hours a week, if you require more hours these must be paid for at a rate of £2 per hour. The qualifying criteria for the 3 year funding is contained in the Information for Parents leaflet, included in the parents induction pack.
